I had this issue for an upcoming flight ORD-LAX-HKG and we only had 45 minutes to connect in LAX. I used an SWU for the whole segment, so I called to leave ORD earlier and they said ok, but it would be in coach ORD-LAX, so I passed. Later I tweeted and they put me in first on the earlier flight out of ORD.
