If you stay for 24 hrs max, then you would've been better off with a transit visa issued as VOA for 20$. The same goes for the landside check-in, but then again it seems you already have an e-visa. But at least you can do VOA for the landside check-in. You do however need a passport photo and the VOA form printed.
