Broadway is a fine hotel in a safe and quiet location with great Canada Line access. It is on the "wrong" side of False Creek to be conveniently walkable to your destinations though and ride share is still illegal in Vancouver. I have not yet stayed at the downtown property but would try it on my next visit just for a slightly better base location.
