My recent experience shows that this is not accurate in all cases. I arrived at the JW Parq in Vancouver around 2:00 AM PST on a recent Thursday, for a two night stay that was to begin the previous day (Wednesday). I received full credit for both nights and points. However, I did check-in on line on Wednesday morning, which might have made a difference.
