In the T&C for Real Time Rewards, I see it says, "Real-Time Rewards text messages are available only for transactions with U.S. merchants." Do they generally hold to that? I'm interested in using my card to buy airline tickets through LATAM's Argentina Website. If I buy through there, the ticket is only $99, vs. $164 through the USBank/flexperks travel site (and most every other US travel agency). So I'd be really happy if I could pay the $99 and then be able to pay with points via RTR. But obviously it is bad if I can't redeem it at all.
Does USBank ever let people call in after the fact and say, "I didn't get a RTR text, but I'd like to redeem against this purchase."?
