TK will do nothing for you before you actually reach IST and it is clear whether you make the IAH flight or not. Forget about arguing that it is certain that you miss the flight - will get you nowhere. You should look for flight alternatives IST-IAH before approaching the transfer desk - most likely you will be rebooked for the next TK flight to IAH and that is it.
