I flew HKG-LAX on tail B-LGE yesterday, sat in 12K, and it was fully operational. There were several open J seats in case it wasn't. The plane had no wifi for the entire flight though! As Roseanne Roseannadana used to say "It's always something!"
Service wasn't nearly as good as on my outbound last week. Those FAs were constantly refilling my water bottle (for example). Yesterday, I barely saw the FAs except during meal service.
