Applied online: 2/25/19 (lucky to find an interview for the next day at an IdentoGO location)
Interview: 2/26/19
Acceptance: 3/2/19 (Received e-mail notification, checked online and my KTN was posted).

After my interview I received an e-mail later that day that said TSA received my information and was processing my request. I kept checking my account and the next day my online account said that there was action taken on my application and TSA mailed me a notice which I would receive within 10 business days. However, it did not specify what action was taken.

I saw on the forums that this message was typical, so I was prepared for it. I kept checking my account and on on 3/2/19 the e-mail came that said I was approved.

I am glad I used an IdentoGO location instead of the airport. It was quick, easy, and there were lots of appointments available. The rep at the location was friendly and efficient. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I had to wait a few minutes because he was finishing up with someone else when I arrived. The process consisted of checking my passport, taking my fingerprints electronically, taking my picture, and taking my payment. The rep mentioned that the picture is not used, it's stored away for records purposes.
