Only ever seen this written down... what's the actual pronunciation, or is this a Scone/Scone type question?

Is it AY-VEE-OSS (as in Aviation)
or AY-VEE-OHS
or AVVY-OSS
or AVVY-OHS

or some other permutation which I've missed!?
