I’ve noticed many hotels have hefty deposit for award stays now. The RC Bachelor Gulch wanted $1900 for 5 nights. Maybe instead of charging them for all award stays, only charge deposits for points advance stays and refund deposits once e certs are ordered.
OMAAT reported they received screenshots from readers showing their AMEX cards are charged with the deposits.
