Ah, but they did....although I do not think that Sunworld did so for very long before they ceased operations and went out of business.

As you can see, aircraft was a BAe 146-100 formerly operated by Royal West. I remember seeing Royal West BAe 146 flights departing from BUR to LAS. I also believe they operated Douglas DC-3 service between Las Vegas and the south rim of the Grand Canyon (GCN) at one point.

And speaking of Royal West specifically with regard to their B727-100 aircraft.....

I think Pacific Interstate operated these 727 flights for Royal West. And if one reads the caption, you'll note this particular 727 ended up in the ocean off Florida....on purpose.
