Keeping a consistent seat size across all aircraft types sets expectations for customers. While it would certainly be nice to have a wider seat if the cabin width is there, I think making the A350/777 PS seat feel inferior would not be a good move.
I mean look how much we all complain the 767 D1 seat (I know not an direct comparison, but you get my point).
