We don't know what percentage of released Avios seats are actually taken up, and without that any calculations will be just educated guesswork.

IMHO 1.8% paying with just Avios feels about right, plus another percentage who pay with cash and upgrade with Avios, plus a further percentage who pay with cash and reduce the cost with Avios.

That AA is more than 3x BA is entirely believable too.
