I am looking at Summer TATL inventory and was surprised to see that ORD-DUB NS RT Y Milesaaver on a 787 calendar is wide open.
On top of that I was able to book a web special fare for 20Kpp, 40K RT on AA metal with minimal taxes. It is an 8 hour flight and I can select MCE extra seats, so Y is acceptable.
The warnings about Web Special Fares are that redeposit fees apply (just like any other award).
In addition no changes can be made. Does that mean that absolutely no date changes, and if I need to make a date change, I will have to cancel, pay redeposit fees and then book again on whatever inventory is available day of booking? - Thanks! -
