Since I've never booked summer JAL travel out of Japan before I thought I'd double check if anyone else had run into this issue: it appears there are literally 0 partner awards tickets in the month of August to get anywhere in the US currently? I'm concerned since when I booked my US-to-JP segment months ago there was a ton of award availability in economy for August return dates so I didn't think much of it and didn't have my itinerary finalized at the time. Now I've been checking for over a month (several times a week) and see no JAL partner award availability at all (LAX/SFO/DTW/ORD/NYC/BOS) all blank and AA operator confirms they can't see any either. Is this normal or do I need to start looking at some more inventive options for my return?
