Hi, I'm flying Air China from Beijing to Shanghai in economy with my 6 year old son. I've read that you can only take on 1 carry on that has to way less than 11 lbs? Is this policy strictly enforced? I had planned to gate check a small suitcase and carry on my backpack which will weigh far more than 11 pounds with my electronics in it (computer, etc).
