I (vaguely) remember the good old days of being allowed in the cockpit during flight. In 1976 I was an excited 6yo and went to the cockpit during a BA flight from Toronto to London. My parents were very pleased as it relieved them of parent duties!
Long story short, I was forgotten about and sat in the jump seat for landing and we as a family had to stay behind on board and get the crew bus to the terminal.
As a plane mad six year old it was blooming brilliant, I got my junior jet club log book filled in and was hooked from that flight onwards!
