The Delta terminal at FLL is one of the most crowded, unpleasant airport experiences one can have domestically. The 3 or 4 times I've been there, it has been absolutely packed and hot. I'd honestly rather spend time at LAX or JFK!
I completely agree, I fly there about once a month. BUT! They are working on it! The usable space in the terminal is going to nearly double with a new SkyClub on the second floor and the old SkyClub converted to gate area space. And it will be connected post-security to Terminals 1 and 3 so there will be a ton of extra space to move around. Supposed to be done in 2021 I believe.
