My advice would be to go to the lounge nearest to your transfer security point, keep an eye on the monitors and relocate to a different lounge closer to the gate once it is announced.
Same here, most of my JFK/EWR flights were gate 1-4, even though last time it was somewhere closer to the Pier to my surprise (AC was not 359 so it does not matter here).
