I have a 3-hour layover in MIA today and have scheduled a GE renewal interview at the CBP office in Terminal J.

It looks like we're going to come into D9 and depart D8. I know it's a bit of a haul to Terminal J... is the best way to exit terminal D and use the walkways to get to J? It looks like cutting through the parking lot would be quicker but not sure if it's any easier.

Then coming back, does it make sense to use the E checkpoint to swing by the FL at D30, versus using the D checkpoints?
