I meant Airside at the airport. It seems like a big deal for many. I don't mind the walk myself, it is nice to not have to worry about getting to the gate on time, or getting their too early and having to stand around.
Asian carriers provides golf carts airside for elderly and permiums.That can be really useful in poorly designed terminals - for example PVG T2, or very long walks like BKK. In a better (e.g. Norman Foster) designed terminal, say HKG, SIN, ICN or PEK T3, I don't see much point.
Escorted premium security can be a big plus. Are there oneworld arrangements?
