First time at this hotel. Between my friends and I (1 Plat and 2 Tits), we were all upgraded to massive suites (XX01, XX32 and XX39). 01 and 39 are mirror images of each other and at opposite ends of the hotel wings. XX32 is in the middle of the building behind the elevators and has a very strange configuration (for eg the walk in closet has 2 doors). All the suites were equipped with a small kitchen with a door that gives out onto the corridor. One person used an SNA, the other 2 didn't. I have no idea what a regular room looks like, but we were certainly impressed with the quality of our suites and the condition of the hotel.

We were offered 1000 welcome amenity points, as well as choice of breakfast in the lounge or the main floor restaurant. None of us received a welcome gift in the room. Had no issues getting a 6 pm check-out. (One of my friends asked for 8 pm and got it.)

The very nice lounge is on the 22nd floor and serves breakfast, tea (3-5 pm) and evening canapes/cocktails (6-8 pm). There are computers and a printer in the lounge. It wasn't busy at all when we used it, and there is lots of seating. I had the buffet breakfast in the restaurant which was excellent with standard breakfast and middle eastern fare.

The rooftop pool was decent with large padded chairs for relaxing, but as another poster mentioned, not enough of them.

The best part of this hotel is the easy access to the mall and the Metro. Would definitely come back here.
