Look on the bright side. From October 1st, your airmiles will be worth 14 times more when Airmiles converts to BAmiles.

I asked to be transferred from the UK to the US in June. But when I realised that there was this change, I asked it to be halted.

There was a lot of confusion, and letters to BA Executive Club is a total waste because no one there knows what the other person is doing.

Anyway, I have a new membership in the US now. My 20,304 airmiles will be changed to 203,400 miles in the US BA Exec Club programme. You can originate in the UK for awards.
