Welcome to the Internet, I suppose?

Welcome to FlyerTalk, by the way.

Correct, that's why I pointed out using the one-way (miles, or cash, if you can find a reasonable cash fare) TO India, then starting your cash roundtrips India-USA-India (you do have to plan a half trip in advance for that). This is much more likely to find J fares you will like (SQ, EK etc.) given that airlines will generally sell cheaper J/F fares in developing countries than in developed ones as a way to fill seats without impacting their pricing in wealthier countries like the USA. CMB is a rather famous spot for low-cost premium fares. But if you know you will regularly travel to India this may be a way to help- J for the cost of premium Y+ just by buying your fares a bit differently.
