That depends on how much you value status with Delta. If it's something that you will take advantage of often, or think that you have a decent shot at Medallion upgrades, then I'd definitely stick with Delta and put up with the connections. If it's something that's nice to have, but otherwise isn't all that important, then you're probably better off with "free agency" until you move back to Atlanta.
