It's one of the fun things to do in Kanazawa. When I went, the tour was entirely in Japanese, but there was an American couple who didn't speak any Japanese, and they enjoyed themselves, because the guide demonstrated all the trapdoors and other contrivances that were built in.

And 8:10AM is probably way too early for a Japanese office.
