Interesting that an Alaska rep says the 12 seat configuration should provide a 75% upgrade rate to Gold and 75K flyers- wonder how those numbers change when you look at the individual elite group versus bundling them in. Surely 75K numbers would increase some but maybe they don't want to share that number.

Long term, though, I think all elites will enhance their upgrade numbers when you're on aircraft with 12 or 16 seats compared to 8, so I'm willing to give up that comfy Airbus F seat for better clearance odds down the line.
