I doubt the organisers took UK holidays (a Christian holiday at that) into account when they planned it...
It's not the "UK holidays", it's the holidays for the whole of Europe whose passengers make up a pretty material percentage of the people flying through DXB and probably a majority around Easter - my point was why didn't it start a week or two later.
