Uh, don't forget "American American Airlines AAdvantage Dining & AAdvantage Hotel Programs by Rewards Network." Your significant other will love your taking him / her out a bit more often, and since there's no forms to fill out or "Dan sent me" pass-phrase, only you know you are earning ten miles per dollar spent.

Your Platinum status gets you 100% bonus miles, that's nice, and signing up for bonuses on aa.com can get you more - my SFO - ORD - BRU round trip in March got me a bit over 61,500 miles all told. Not the lowest fare, but one that was low and qualified for FLY04 and EUR04 #3.

Step 1 Read Flyer Talk daily (and other frequent flyer sites)
Step 2 Get a mileage earning credit card or debit card and pay everything with that card. (either AA or Starwood which can be converted to AA)
Step 3 If you are going to be flying a lot, get Platinum status via a challenge and fly only oneworld partners
Step 4 sign up with opinionplace.com
Step 5 sign up with erewards.com
Step 6 Instead of making your regularly purchases in person at the store, make them online via an AA partner or the Advantage eShopping Program (books, clothes, etc)
Step 7 If you have extra money sitting in a checking account, move it to an AA financial partner

These are the steps you can take for free or at least little extra cost to your normal life.

Anyone have anything to add? I can post it on my website when we're all done.
