I agree with Athena that you can't count on the airlines ! I would say 1 hour in the US or Canada and 2 hours abroad. I had a harrowing run through Frankfurt in May because the airline and my travel agent thought that 45 minutes was long enough to make a connection. When I ended up outside in the German sunshine, I knew that things were not going well!
