You know how sometimes someone says something that, once you hear it and your mind works on it, gives you the solution? Turns out, corporate travel office put BA FFN (no status) on the reservation. As soon as I switched to my AA FTN, it let me select the seat. Your comment regarding status triggered me to go check! Thanks!!!
