Go to www.newarkairport.com and you can see security wait times. As I am writing this wait times are 9 minutes for non-precheck and 0 minutes for pre check at Terminal B. If you feel more at ease you can leave earlier. Go to NJTransit.com and you can see schedules. At that time of day there is a train every 15 minutes or so.
