About Cairns, I was wondering about the Holiday Inn Cairns, the Hilton Cairns and the Doubletree Cairns.
Anything to choose between them in terms of access to the Cairnes Esplanade, and the feasibility of walking from the hotel to the docking points for cruises to the Great Barrier Reef ?
The Hilton is super close to the terminal where the Reef Boats leave from. The Double Tree is a bit further away, but the walk is pretty nice past the lagoon and on the boardwalk. The Holiday Inn is the furthest away, still walkable but definitely the least appealing option.
