I think there is very little interest in directly spying on a single person. What this does allows for mass amounts of facial recognition data to be collected. You could identify when someone on a list shows up on an airplane with an outstandingly close and accurate visual picture of the person. and also if, for example, you are watching an ad and the camera can detect your interest based on facial movement they may be able to use that data to target you in the future.
I don’t believe this is happening but this is the kind of data companies would want, not to have access to watch you specifically as you sit there and rub boogers all over the screen
