Have done this many times. Subway to Penn Station, then NJ Transit, then the AirTrain. The AirTrain drops you off right in the terminal. Way too much traffic and Lincoln Tunnel construction to take the bus. I would go for the 5:01 NJ Transit train. Also, March 8th is not a Monday.
