Ok, there is no 'C' fare-basis in Europe. A 'C' fare is infact a full-fare/full-flex economy ticket, which gives 'C' class service.

Hence why you will often see the words "changeable only by upgrade" on a ticket - ie. you have to have a full-fare ticket to make a change, which will therefore give you 'C' class service. Else you would change to a fully-flex 'M' Class ticket right?

"M" is a fare-basis and it is also a Class of Service (Econ).

"C" (within Europe) is only a Class of Service.

"Y" is a fare-basis only.

"D" is a fare-basis. A restricted fare, with "C" class of service.

"C" Fare-basis tickets are available on BA domestic routes - but the Class of Service will be Econ.
