I'll speculate that you have chosen better standard HGI properties. Recently, HGI Henderson had a cold buffet and one hot selection from a menu with typos. (It offered more than the hotel was willing to deliver: "That's not what it means.")

In general, however, I agree with arlflyer that Hilton Garden Inn offers the best chance at a good breakfast.
