Breakfast offerings getting better at Hilton Garden Inn?

Lately, I've noticed an uptick in the choices on the table at HGI. Typically there will be bacon/sausage, scrambled eggs (rubber), and some sort of potato dish. In addition a selection of pasties, bread, and juices. As always the 'cooked to order' option of eggs is available.

Recently I've stayed at HGI Ottawa Downtown and HGI Toronto Airport and found a range of 'trendy' items such as 'avocado toast, various colours of smoothie, kale salads, chickpea salad. The standard scrambled eggs is now shirred with Feta (which helps retain some moisture), and the potatoes are now red-skinned sauteed with onions.

Is this a chain wide trend or have I just chosen better standard HGI properties?
