I'd have definitely agreed with this other up until the tail end of 2018. Since then I've experienced service issues creeping in at SGS which levels the playing field somewhat. For me, I was extremely loyal to the SGS purely due to their outstanding service and loyalty recognition despite the hard product being pretty far from my taste. Now both of these are on the wane I feel there's more justification to check out other competing properties such as St R or even the JW that have a more contemporary feel.
