A few years ago we flew Flight 100 to Abu Dhabi on Etihad. We had connected at JFK from SAN. When the luggage was unloaded, ours was a no-show. It turned out that all NY connecting passengers' luggage was apparently loaded into a container, but the container never made it on the plane. Everything was resolved the next night when Flight 100 arrived with all of the luggage.
