I've never stayed there, but I have stayed at other Marriott hotels that had MVCI properties next door or attached which I would guess might be similar given RC Residences are RC's timeshare (or fractional-ownership as they prefer) arm. In general, I'd expect the Residence to be more like a full apartment where at normal hotel suite would just be a larger hotel room (i.e. more limited kitchen and similar areas/items.) According to the RC website, all the Residences are in a specific wing of the property. Not sure if that is good or bad, but if it is in preferable location, that might be a benefit.
