I need the help of all you BA FFs (Merry, bagold, BostonBoy, stimpy, etc.)

I am flying GLA-TPA on the Saturday following Thanksgiving, and BA looks like the best bet since it is direct to Tampa...

Here are the three options:

1. BA GLA-LGW arriving LGW at 1:10p. The BA LGW-TPA flight departs at 1:55p. Is this too short?

2. BA GLA-LGW arriving LGW at 7:30a. Again, departing for TPA at 1:55. This is a looong layover, but we should be able to head into Central London.

3. BA GLA-LHR arriving LHR 9:00 or 11:00. Same 1:55 to TPA.
a. Will BA transfer the bags between the two airports, or will we have to claim them?
b. How to get between the two airports? I believe BA has a shuttle. How long does it take, and how much? What about via taxi?

4. CO GLA-EWR-TPA, but we would prefer to avoid Ewr.
