We have a couple stays at Loews using AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts through the Platinum card. A couple questions:

1. I assume as with most chains this is a qualifying stay but can someone confirm?

2. Is anyone a Platinum member who has stayed on an AMEX FHR rate? I'm curious if the $100 AMEX credit was in addition to the $100 Platinum credit resulting in a $200 credit per stay.

Locations such as Chicago have low rates in the winter. It could provide an interesting opportunity!
