This isn't a gift I'd want to receive again and again, but it's actually nicer and more useful than the sad plates of 'sweet treats' often encountered in hotels higher in the Accor pecking order.
I don't know why when I saw this welcome gift and this scenario came into my mind...
"Oh darn we haven't prepared any welcome gift, what should we do!?"
*frantically rumbling through stationary room and found some post-it and bottle opener*
"Here I got a couple of candies in my pocket, let's throw them all in"
