I will be flying this ticket soon and would like to ask you about your opinion on the connection flight after arriving in AMD on the return leg.
With SQ530 I will arrive AMD at 21.35 on a Thursday. On Friday I have to catch a flight from BOM to BKK at 23.35.
So I need a flight from AMD to BOM and I am not quite sure which one to choose.
In my opinion there are 2 options:
1) Take G8 413 departing at 0.35 on Friday with an arrival at 2.00 a.m in BOM and take a hotel there.
This would mean I have to connect from terminal 2 to terminal 1 in AMD. Is the tunnel always open? Are 3 hours enough time (no checked luggage)?
2) Take a hotel in Ahmedabad and take flight AI 985 on Friday departing 19.10 with an arrival time in BOM at 20.40.
As I checked the on-time performance this flight seems to be delayed a lot. In the best case I would have 2 hours and 55 minutes in BOM. As AI arrives in terminal 2 and TG departs in terminal 2 no need for a terminal change. But as these are two tickets and if the AI flight is really delayed I would miss my flight to BKK ( as I am connecting to CDG there this would be a huge loss).

So what option to choose, or do you have any other recommendation?
