Back in the day (i.e. 10+ years ago), Marriott did publish at least a partial listing of the Pointsavers. But they stopped doing that, can't remember why now. Though I agree it would be nice if they created/maintained a running list of hotels accepting Pointsaver awards.
My guess is Marriott probably thought that most people would choose a destination and then look for the best use of points instead of looking for a destination from a list of Pointsaver awards. I know that historically, some folks have made travel plans based on IHG's Pointbreaks, but those used to be a much bigger point savings (i.e. not just 5K/night like Marriotts, but possibly 20k/night or more in some cases.) So for Marriott you might have a 30K/night award rather than a 35K/night award. With IHG Pointbreaks, you might have a 5K/night award instead of a 35K/night award making a week stay cost the equivalent of what normally would be a single night.)
Also, hotel participation in Pointsaver awards may not always coincide with a set timeframe (i.e. like IHG's Pointbreaks on a somewhat quarterly basis). If so, publishing and maintaining a list might be much more problematic. Different hotels may participate for different timeframes (necessitating not only a list of hotels but the exact dates each one is participating). And not sure with Marriott if it is Marriott's decision or the hotel's to participate in Pointsaver awards and how/when the decisions are made and updated.
