Agreed. It’s definitely the best hotel beach in Hawaii, and a strong candidate for best beach overall (including drive/walk-to beaches). We had a lot of discussion about this in the original thread; not sure why a new one was created and all that info is thus lost.
The couple of miles of public beach just past Pupukea, on Oahu, is pretty nice, although again it's public.
