Well ... didn't really pay in both cases. Good timing and spare avios to spend on a CW->F upgrade.

But ... I still don't want to appear rude or obnoxious to the flight crew just because I asked for something in the most inconvenient time... (hence the whole thread)

Like - they are serving dinner right now, and with all the food going around - now they have to make the bed for 1K ...
