I have a valid, current prescription for Ambien (Zolpidem) in the US. I have an upcoming trip to Thailand, and will run out of my regular fill partway through.

Although I have had the scrip for years, I'm relatively new to my primary care doctor, and she's hesitant, even with evidence of the trip, to offer a fill in advance.

Have I got any options in Bangkok, perhaps something like an "urgent care clinic" or even a hospital with walkin service? I know there's some availability of certain drugs on the street, but I'd really like to avoid that route.

FWIW, I'll also be stopping in HKG on the way - that airport appears to have a small medical clinic. Might it be useful?
