You're in them more than I am for sure so have a much bigger sample size. As a vegan, I’m inherently mistrustful of food in places like that. As you say, it doesn’t help if labels are missing and/or misplaced. It just shouldn’t be that hard!

I usually decline preordered meals on aircraft and bring my own after too many disappointments. The last meal I had in J TATL was labeled VGML but had dairy margarine on the tray. I don’t have an allergy, so it wouldn’t have been a health issue, but for someone with a serious allergy it could have been a problem. The meal itself was blah anyhow...
